Part of the tire manufacturing process is identifying the best combination of ingredients to achieve a specific purpose, whether that’s wet performance, fuel economy, tire life, or another ability that might be beneficial to a driver.

The next time you look at your tires, remember that your manufacturer had to research and test many combinations of chemicals and ingredients to get what you have installed right now.
